Almost five years of successful trading on Herne Bay Pier, Dre’s Kitchen has a loyal customer base that extends to neighbouring towns including Faversham, Rochester, Bromley, Ashford, Margate, Ramsgate, Deal, Whitstable, and Canterbury, to name a few. In addition, there are those who are urging Dre to deliver food to places afar including York, Northamptonshire, Chester and the Lake District!!!
Realisation of the dream
Andrea Griffith (Dre) fulfilled a longstanding dream to open a Caribbean food business in May 2018, built on love and the love of food. Dre’s Caribbean Kitchen is the result!
We are very proud of the food that we make and have continued to provide high quality delicious food to our ever-growing customer base.
After 10 years, Andrea left her permanent role at the University of Kent in 2019 to pursue what is now her full-time career. As the services of Dre’s Caribbean Kitchen are increasingly in demand, particularly for front of house and deliveries, the time has come for Dre’s Caribbean Kitchen to expand and grow its’ reputation as a destination street food outlet.
